Retired Faculty Council
The Retired Faculty Council held its inaugural meeting on Dec. 1, 1993, with 46 charter members. The council provides a means for retired faculty to stay in touch with the university and to remain involved with university affairs. It also serves as a way of gathering and disseminating information of interest to retirees and brings together long-time colleagues for stimulating events.
Past programs have included building tours, talks with VCU's president and professors, VCU basketball games, and cultural events.
