Safeguarding Space and Time: Task, Relational, and Cognitive Crafting

Speaker: Mangala Subramaniam, Ph.D., Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs

In a forthcoming book chapter, Aimee LaPointe Terosky and Lauren Footman discuss job crafting as comprising three key elements: task crafting (aligning roles/responsibilities to priorities), relational crafting (seeking out effective partnerships), and cognitive crafting (altering one’s mindset in productive ways). This session will focus on the Job Crafting Action Plan to guide participants through a series of reflective prompts on priorities and actionable steps.
